On-Premise Industrial IoT

On-premise IoT UAE — private plant systems, no cloud lock-in.

Many factories ask SAS for systems that stay on site: local edge servers, plant MQTT/OPC UA, dashboards the shift can open on the LAN, and historians that do not depend on a monthly SaaS plan. We design and commission exactly that — cloud reporting only when you choose it.

What We Deliver

On-premise IoT stacks plants actually ask for.

This is the same engineering we already deliver for private sites — now clearly advertised so procurement and OT teams can find it.

Plant edge platform

On-site collection for MQTT and OPC UA, local buffers, and connectors into dashboards and CMMS — hosted on hardware you control.

Local dashboards

Shift and management views on the plant LAN. No public internet required for day-to-day monitoring.

Historian & retention

Keep trends and event history on site for reliability reviews, audits and hours-based maintenance.

Network zoning

Machine/cell VLAN vs plant VLAN, least-privilege tokens on the edge, TLS where appropriate, air-gap options.

IntelliLink at the cell

Interface hardware that publishes a clean tag model northbound — without putting the OEM controller on the public cloud.

On-prem AI ready

Same private path feeds plant GPU, edge AI PCs or container edge servers when you grow into PdM AI or industrial LLMs.

Why Plants Choose Private

IT policy, sovereignty and operational independence.

Policy & sovereignty

Some sites cannot send OT data to public cloud tenants. On-prem keeps production telemetry inside the plant boundary.

CAPEX-friendly ownership

Buy and run the stack on site. Avoid locking core monitoring behind a mandatory subscription for every operator seat.

WAN not required

Shifts keep working when the internet link is down. Store-and-forward protects against plant network hiccups.

Cloud Is Optional

Edge-to-cloud when it helps — never as a forced path.

Our broader Industrial IoT page covers hybrid and cloud destinations. This page is for teams who need the private answer up front.

Fully on-prem

Dashboards, historian and CMMS connector entirely on site.

Hybrid reporting

Operate locally; mirror selected KPIs to corporate cloud later.

Secure remote support

Controlled jump hosts or VPN — not open inbound to machine VLANs.

FAQ

Questions OT and IT ask

Straight answers on private, on-premise industrial IoT.

Do you build on-premise IoT without cloud subscriptions?

Yes. Many plants ask for private, on-site systems with no mandatory SaaS subscription. SAS designs and commissions on-premise MQTT/OPC UA edge stacks, local dashboards and historians. Cloud reporting is optional — not required for plant operations.

Where does production data live?

By default on plant servers and edge hardware you own or host on site. We can keep machine VLANs isolated from the public internet and support air-gap friendly designs.

Can we still use cloud later?

Yes. Start fully on-prem. Add secure cloud reporting or analytics later if group IT asks for it — without redesigning the shop-floor path.

What about on-prem AI and LLMs?

Industrial AI inference and plant LLMs can also run on plant GPU or container edge servers with no public cloud API required. See Edge & Container DC and Industrial LLM.

How do we request a technical proposal?

Use Request a technical proposal and note that you need on-premise / private IoT (no mandatory cloud subscription). Include site constraints and protocols. We typically reply within 24 hours.

Next Step

Specify private IoT up front.

Tell us network constraints (LAN-only, air-gap, hybrid), protocols and whether dashboards or CMMS meters are the first deliverable.

Request on-premise IoT proposal

Mention private / on-prem requirements so we scope the right architecture.
