Basic thermal management: Fixed-speed cooling without advanced controls. Suitable for straightforward cabinet cooling applications where ambient and load conditions are relatively stable.
Multi-zone temperature management: Independent thermal zones within a single cabinet for mixed component loads. Allows different regions to be cooled at different rates based on local sensor feedback.
Protocol-enabled variants: Zone control plus integrated industrial communication (RS485, Modbus RTU, CAN, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFIBUS DP) for PLC/SCADA/BMS integration, live monitoring and remote diagnostics.
Food processing variant: Stainless steel construction, hygienic design, enhanced filtration and food-compliance certifications. Specifically engineered for beverage, dairy, meat processing and pharmaceutical environments.
Hazardous area variant: ATEX, IEC Ex and other explosion-proof certifications for Zone 1/2 classified locations. Available with communication interfaces where required by application safety standards.
Space-optimized architecture: Reduced front-to-back depth across all models to fit narrow or high-density electrical enclosures. Maintains full cooling capacity while minimizing physical footprint.
Custom combinations: All variants can be combined. For example, a Foodgrade Smart Zone unit with Modbus RTU communication, or an EX-rated Smart control panel AC with CAN Bus integration. Contact SAS for application-specific engineering.
Smart AC Connectivity
SAS ClimaLink Smart AC systems can be engineered for almost any practical interlocking or communications requirement, from simple alarm contacts up to plant-network integration.
Typical options include RS485, RS232, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, CAN Bus, CANopen, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET and PROFIBUS DP.
Available logic can include remote start/stop, fault relay, high-temperature alarm, fan/compressor status, door switch interlock, line permissive and emergency shutdown integration.
Smart ClimaLink ACs can be integrated into PLC, HMI, SCADA and building management systems for live monitoring, alarms, remote control, maintenance triggers and energy reporting.
If your plant standard uses another protocol or a special interlocking sequence, SAS can engineer the interface to match your control architecture.
